Yasmyn breaks stigmas in her hot music video for "Dance With Me"

Estonia's female artist of the year Yasmyn introduced a hot music video for her new single "Dance With Me".

“I’ve always wanted to make a music video that includes dancing. It made perfect sense as the song literally talks about dancing and I’ve been working hard to develop this skill recently, so I wanted to challenge myself. I believe that with that video, I continue to break stigmas in the Estonian music scene where female artists tend to hold themselves back and hide their sexiness,” comments Yasmyn.

“The whole team was fantastic and the video was created together with production company Vita Pictura. I wanted to give spotlight to my fantastic dancers: Laura Pakasaar, Diana Aizatullina, Kaili Jaago, Andrea-Liis Mustkikkas, Lola and to the choreographer Eghert-Sören Nõmm,” Yasmyn adds. Styling and makeup was done by long-term creative partner Liisa-Chrislin Saleh with additional beauty artist Kristiine Kaljurand.

“Vita Pictura dreamt of doing a music video for her since we did the first feature documentary in 2019. Three years later, we finally made a music video for Yasmyn. We’ve been working non-stop for three years to develop a feature-lenght documentary "YASMYN. Clarity for a Day or Two" that will be released in 2023,” says one of the directors, Anastasia Zazhitskaya.

“In this music video, we wanted to capture the great combination of the beauty, power, feminity, and free spirit that Yasmyn is always standing for, which resonates with our mindset,” adds director Georgius Misjura.

YASMYN is an RnB singer and an artist who has Estonian-Dominican blood flowing in her veins. Her stage presence has been described as a hypnotic mix of modern R&B, trap, pop and house music by various foreign music publications. There is a sense of self-confidence in her music, which makes the listener want to dive deeper into her lyrics and music. YASMYN’s rise to become a successful artist has been fast - in 2019 she released her debut album , which was nominated as Hip-Hop / Rap / R'n'B Artist of the Year at the Estonian Music Awards alongside Reket and Nublu. In 2021, she released her second studio album , which received widespread recognition among critics and music lovers in addition to 4 nominations at the 2022 Estonian Music Awards and the title of Female Artist of the Year.
