Sudden Lights "Aijā" gets a fresh spin from DJ [Ex] Da Bass

Latvian DJ [Ex] da Bass has released a remix of Sudden Lights' song "Aijā," which will represent Latvia at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool. The remix has a new rhythm and a video to go along with it.

[Ex] da Bass explains that it had been his tradition to remix the winner of Supernova, Latvia's national contest for Eurovision, but stopped in 2019 due to the request of the band, Carousel. This year, he heard "Aijā" and felt it was time to continue the tradition. Despite the song being a sad and rocky ballad, he aimed to make the remix enjoyable and modern for club-goers. [Ex] da Bass adds:

I wish Sudden Lights a good start and good luck at this year's Eurovision and hope that all remixes of "Aijā" will carry out its mission.

[Ex] da Bass has been a prominent DJ in the Baltic club culture for over 25 years, having opened for world-famous DJs like David Guetta and shared the stage with other giants in the industry. He is also the host of EHR's weekly radio show "Party Service," a member of the music trio 3Live Project, an event organizer, music producer, and even a racing driver.
