Antidote exclusive - Monikaze ft. St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra perform at power plant

Monikaze ft. Vilnius city St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra in partnership with Antidote Community delivers a live audiovisual performance. The performance is a premiere of Monikaze’s electroacoustic composition called “Laws of Distraction”.

Filmed in Vilnius Combined Heat and Power Plant, or simply Power Plant-3, a carefully selected location to highlight the core idea of the piece: a struggling human in the noisy modern world. Surrounded by a maze of industrial pipes, lights, and ladders, Monikaze tells the story in 8 tracks each reflecting a different stage of a journey towards the deadline.

These songs were directly inspired by Monikaze‘s personal experiences during the process of artistic creation, and any person who has experienced distractions while tackling a deadline can relate to them. The titles are as follows: "Attention Span", "Time Robbers", "Giving Up", "Food Monster", "Opinions", "Www“, "Mind Bubbles in a Microwave", "It's Louder".

The studio album is due for release in 2022 behind the London-based record label “Moshi Moshi”, so in the meantime “Laws of Distraction” is presented in a film form with a live performance of Vilnius city St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra.
