Karlis Sheen, a new Latvian artist on the horizon, introduces to himself with a debut single “Life As It Is” and a creative approach - self-made stop motion lyric video.
“Life As It Is” is a song about reflecting on some of the shortcomings you as a person can have and how you should not be ashamed of them. It talks about coming to an understanding that life will not always be in your favor. Its message is to inspire people to be true to themselves and to proceed through life on their own terms.
The song combines influences from artists like grandson, Beastie Boys, Oliver Tree among others and features a combination of hard kicking drums, thick synth-style bass, grooving guitar riffs and sing-along melodies. The song has a DIY (Do It Yourself) approach as all of the song writing, production, mixing and mastering has been done by Karlis.
