Open-air festival "foRest" will kick off summer with music, culture and art

For the second year in a row, on May 26 and 27, in Latvia at Ezeriņi, Jaunsvirlaukas parish, "foRest" festival will kick off the beginning of summer in nature, accompanied by music, culture and art. Tickets here.

This year the festival will focus on imprints - those who we leave with emotions and actions, and those left by unstoppable processes of nature.

Festival visitors will have the opportunity to feel and see the connection of different imprints, sticking to the “Do it yourself” tradition and format, with Latvian and foreign artists, performances, master classes, activities, and fun conversations.

The first artists who will perform at the festival have been announced: the noisy instrumental duo from Finland NYOS; synth-pop association KASETES; experimental rock band DZ; riot grrrl quartet ŠŅK; romantic pop grunge singer KEITIJA BĀRBALE; psychedelic ghost rock band BĒDU BRĀĻI; progressive rock band ASTON KAIS and others.

Last year among local alternative and indie artists, the stage was shaken by dark folk/tribal electronic band "Veliu Namai" and Estonian alternative rock treasure from Pärnu "Sibyl Vane".

The open-air festival "foRest" program will be announced gradually, but it is already known that part of the festival will gather Latvian and foreign musicians, master classes, creative activities, discussions, an open-air cinema program, and other activities.
