Music festival ‘Enkurfests’ returns with its second edition

Situated in the courtyard of “Ziemeļu Enkurs” craft brewery and in the premises of the brew-pub itself, “Enkurfests” was launched in 2020, gathering more than 400 lovers of good music, beer and tasty street food. It was an instant success with hints and comments from festival-goers asking to begin a new tradition. So, ”Enkurfests” crew began preparations for this year’s festival on time, and as soon as cultural and music events were allowed to take place again this summer, the line-up was completed.

Regular visitors of the “Ziemeļu Enkurs” brew-pub are familiar with concerts, adventure story evenings, movie nights and other events that are held at the brewery.

“City-based festivals are indeed an awesome, convenient and fun way to spend a beautiful afternoon and evening, enjoying music, beer and food with friends. And that’s all without the need to spend a lot of time or money traveling outside of the city”, says Dāvis Linde, co-owner and head-brewer of “Ziemeļu Enkurs”.

What to expect on July 10th? The musical line-up will cater for various musical tastes, including artists like Purple Negative, March, Čipsis un Dullais, VIŅA, Four Minute Man, Židrūns and Tesa. DJ Toms Grēviņš will take care of the bubbling energy of the festival for the second year in a row.

Next to a wide range of delicious food, festival-goers will be able to enjoy “Ziemeļu Enkurs” beer which is brewed right there on the spot. Right now, a batch of special “Enkurfests” beer is fermenting at the brewery, and it will be available only during the festival. Other drinks from the bar will be on the menu too, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, as well as a variety of activities throughout the day.

Ziemeļu Enkurs” brew-pub is anchored in the centre of Riga, Matīsa Street 8. The brewery opened its doors to visitors in February 2018 and since then dozens of different beer types have been added to the regular list, with new beer recipes and varieties being continuously developed and brewed. Don’t miss out on the special “Enkurfests” beer made exclusively for this year’s event!

The festival gates open at 1pm. Address: 8 Matīsa street, Riga.
Tickets can be purchased on site at the brewery (20 EUR), as well as ONLINE (21 EUR, incl. transaction fees).

Tickets will also be available on the day of the festival at the entrance of “Ziemeļu Enkurs” territory. Ticket price includes a welcome beer (only 18+).
