Enchanting Il Divo to perform in Baltics

Il Divo. A New Day Tour

The internationally recognised vocal group Il Divo will perform in Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius as part of their "A New Day Tour" this autumn.

23.10. Estonia, Tallinn, Alexela Concert Hall

24.10. Latvia, Riga, Arena Riga

27.10. Lithuania, Vilnius, Avia Solutions Group Arena

The “A New Day Tour” not only showcases Il Divo's incredible talents but also supports their 10th studio album, “For Once In My Life: A Celebration Of Motown”, released in 2021. The album pays tribute to the iconic Motown era with Il Divo's signature sound and vocal brilliance.

Il Divo has gained worldwide fame by blending opera, theater, and contemporary pop music sounds, captivating their audiences with their rich harmonies and creative performances.

The talented and experienced vocalists, in their high-quality and professional manner, will perform their characteristic and unique repertoire, delivering popular hits by Josh Groban, Toni Braxton, and Frank Sinatra in the sound of classical music, accompanied by an orchestra. They will also sing opera arias and other classical music pieces in a pop music style.

"We don't just make music, we create an experience. We want people to move to another place with the help of music; to feel something they haven't felt before," said David Miller of Il Divo. "We're always looking for ways to push ourselves and take risks. It's important for us to develop as artists and musicians."

The international lineup of Il Divo consists of Swiss tenor Urs Bühler, American tenor David Miller, French pop singer and songwriter Sébastien Izambard, as well as the special guest for this concert tour, American baritone Steven LaBrie, who not only provides a multidimensional insight into classical music in pop music arrangements, but also offers concertgoers a distinctly multicultural concert program performing in Spanish, English, Italian, and French languages.

Unfortunately, in late 2021, during their global tour, the group tragically lost Carlos Marín. For the first time in their 18-year history, the members faced the dilemma of whether to continue their activity or disband. Ultimately, David, Urs, and Sébastien decided to carry on, thus honoring the memory of their lost brother Carlos.

Il Divo's origins can be traced back to 2003 when music producer and television personality Simon Cowell wanted to create a new and innovative music project that combined classical music elements with popular songs. The newly formed musical project, Il Divo, released their debut album "Il Divo" in 2004, which achieved widespread popularity and commercial success. The album, featuring original songs as well as a new rendition of the superhit "Unbreak My Heart," received acclaim from both audiences and music critics, quickly gaining international attention and reaching the top of the music charts in 13 countries.

Rapidly becoming one of the most successful vocal quartets in the world, Il Divo has received several significant awards throughout their career, released highly acclaimed and beloved albums, performed with world-class artists, collaborated with renowned symphony orchestras, sold out concerts in multiple countries, and even performed for former American President Barack Obama and former Queen of England Elizabeth II.

"To me, singing is about connecting with people. When you perform and see the impact your music has on someone, it's an incredible feeling," said Miller. "We want our music to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or musical taste. We're always looking for ways to incorporate different genres and styles into our music."

Il Divo's concerts in Baltics promise to be an unforgettable experience for everyone present. Don't miss the chance to witness the magic of Il Divo as they continue their extraordinary musical journey.
