Continuing the 2020 fall’s announcement of strengthening Warner Music Baltics in the Baltics and starting collaboration with Baltic musicians, at the end of 2020 Warner Music Baltics announced signing two more Baltic artists – Lithuanian DJ, producer Jovani and one of Estonia’s top rappers – gameboy tetris.
Jonas Nainys – Jovani is a world known Lithuanian DJ/producer. Today Jovani has over 400K supporters on social media and his music videos have received over 90 million views.
Jovani started his solo carier in 2018, before that he was a member of the popular Lithuanian DJ duo ‘Radistai’. Since the 2018 he has had a lot of successful hits and his music has been played all over the world.
His single ‘Half Life‘ received praise from the Billboard, calling it ‘an euphoric escape to club‘.
Single ‘Keep It To Myself‘ with one of Lithuania’s most popular singers Jazzu was named one of the best songs of 2018 by EDM.com: ‘It has everything what we like in electronic music’ it said, and his hit ‘Tokyo‘ was presented at the BBC Radio 1.
gameboy tetris – father, singer, rapper, DJ and sometimes even an actor – gameboy tetris aka Pavel Botšarov is a multi talented guy whose music career started over 20 years ago. Some music lovers might know him as DJ Pavel Pi or as a member from bands Gorõ Lana, Catapulta or from Estonia’s most popular and scandalous rap group 5Miinust.
Gameboy tetris first gained more attention by collaborating with Nublu, who is currently number one rapper in Estonia. Their track “für Oksana” has gained over 7 million views across all platforms and is well loved to this day.
Gameboy tetris has also collaborated with other talented local artist like Clicherik & Mäx on their summer hit single “Maakas”, among others. He’s also made a recent appearance on two tracks on Nublu’s new album. After multiple collaborations and bands, gameboy tetris is ready to try something new and start his solo career.
Already in October Warner Music Baltics announced collaboration with Baltic musicians – Estonian artist Noëp, followed by the release of his latest single and video “On My Way”, and Lithuanian band The Roop.
