ESTONIAN TRAD.ATTACK! RELEASES A NEW AND EXCITING ALBUM

Trad.Attack!’s new and very distinct album ‘MYMiatures – Songs That Never Grew Up‘ was released at the end of the year. What makes this album completely unique is the fact that all 21 songs on this album are ideas that were put in the band’s so-called ‘drawer’ when they recorded their previous studio album ‘Make Your Move’.

“Never before has any band, at least not here, dared to release so-called black material or demos, ideas, rehearsals, as an album, each of which could have become a hit single, but it didn’t happen,” tells the band’s guitarist Jalmar Vabarna.

We decided to open the doors of the creative process a bit to music lovers and show that working in the art of music is an exciting journey, although it often doesn’t get anywhere,‘ Vabarna adds.

“The idea to release new music was born out of the current situation in the world. As the beginning of autumn showed signs that there would be no more touring, we put our heads together and thought about what would happen next,” said Sandra Vabarna, the leader of the band. “It then simply came to our attention. Since we really had five ideas and sketches for creating the Make Your Move album, we picked it up and listened to it. Among the approximately 80 demos, there were both recordings made in the training process and proper recordings made in the rehearsal,” Vabarna added.

“Our last musical move – the album MAKE YOUR MOVE (2020) – was released 9 months ago and now is living a great life on its own. It has already been listened to more than a million times on streaming channels!” says the drummer of the band Tõnu Tubli. “But a good album still needs to be supported with different approaches and I have a feeling that the MYMIATURES album’s addition will do just that, and soon you will hear something more exciting,” concludes Tõnu Tubli.
