Tonight on November 9, the Manchester duo “Hurts” will perform at the Arena Riga promoting their latest album “Desire”.
The program will feature the most vivid singles of the new record – Ready To Go, Beautiful Ones, Hold On To Me, Magnificent, as well as the hits from their previous albums such as Better Than Love, Somebody To Die For, Wings Nothing Will Be Bigger Than Us, Rolling Stone, Miracle, Stay, Wonderful Life and others.
Hurts singer Theo Hutchcraft and instrumental part Adam Anderson say that “You can compare it to the “best of” selection. Several songs have been in our repertoire for at least 7 years but we want to introduce some new songs as well. That is why seven songs had to go and seven new songs had to replace them. In our previous tour we noticed that people are more excited about the well known hits because they have their own memories and history with them. But new songs come with new sensations and adventures. We are proud of always trying to deliver the best concert experience possible. We work really hard for that. It is a significant part of our band”.
This will be the most impressive Hurts tour so far that will include at least 29 shows in UK, Finland, Baltic States, Belarus, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Russia.
Lithuanian band “Deeper Upper” will be opening for both Hurts shows in the Baltics. The band participated in competition and was selected by Baltic music professionals, music and entertainment platform ww.bobe.me and Hurts management amongst more than 30 Baltic music bands. “Depper Upper” was formed in 2010 in Vilnius and is a four-piece band (Vilnius, Lithuania), which has already secured its place among indie scene‘s bands in the Baltic states.
