As it was announced already earlier, on August 15th the festival will be headlined by British electronic indie-rock sensation, The xx.

Jessie Ware

The elegantly soulful vocal of this wonderful artist was introduced to the wider audience right with release of her debut album Devition in 2012, which peaked Nr. 5 at UK Albums Chart. But particularly by the single Wildest Moments from this record. BBC Music described it like that: “Devotion is the sort of sophisticated, soulful pop record that comes along all too rarely, a collection [of the songs] that never hides the heart on its sleeve”. Pitcfork Media included the album in the decade’s top 100 and a nomination for the prestigious Mercury Prize was only obvious next step.

Her follow-up record, Tough Love (2014), reached number nine in the United Kingdom. The Gurdian’s observer gave a positive review of the album, calling it “sensual and intriguing”, while describing the album’s content as a “boneless elegance” with “premium product”.

Wildest Moments, Say You Love Me (co-written together with Ed Sheeran ), Running, Pieces, If You’re Never Gonna Move, Tough Love, You & I (Forever), Champagne Kisses etc. are among the top hits of Jessie Ware.

The Naked and Famous (TNAF)

The band is rightly regarded as New Zealand’s musical sensation. Already with their debut album Passive Me, Agressive You (2011) the formation gained a significant recognition and soon made a name for themselves outside of New Zealand’s and Australian musical borders.

Cheerful exciting pop, with mix of indie, moody post-punk of the 80’s and a teaspoon of electro-rock, those all features have become the quintet’s signiture.

The band’s is led by its core Alisa and Thom, whose vocals, keyboards and guitars, and of course creative interaction are the main driving forces.

Influential music magazine NME describes the band’s records: “A classic case of lovely and beautiful: TNAF’s passive melodicism and aggressive innovation clash in a dazzling blaze of psych/sonic fireworks”.

So far the band have released 3 albums and Young Blood, Punching In A Dream, Girls Like You, Hearts Like Ours, A Stillness, I Kill Giants, Higher etc. are the most known hits.
