Sandé’s voice have been compared to Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Annie Lennox, Tracy Chapman, Beyoncé and other great ones. Relevant that she is the author or co-author of all her songs, and even more, she has written songs for other performers, such as Cheryl Cole, Leona Lewis, Susan Boyle; she collaborated with Noughty Boy, Tinie Tempah, Professor Green, etc., as well credited her vocal to David Guetta’s What I Did For Love and so on.

Adele Emily Sandé was born in 1987 in Sunderland, northeast of UK. In some interview she recalls, that the path to recognition was not easy, as record companies did not want to release an album with her own composed songs; they considered being too risky. But with the first single Heaven in 2011, which hit second place in the British chart and next ones Read All About It, and Beneath Your Beautiful (written in collaboration with Professor Green and Labrinth respectively) that peaked the British and Irish charts, the world became aware of new, unique talent.
Album “Our Versions Of Events” has spent total ten weeks at number one and became the best-selling album of 2012 in the UK, with over 2 million copies (seven times Platinum!), surpassing even the Adele’s “21”. Similarly, it was admitted to a number of other countries in the world: triple Platinum in Ireland and Platinum in France, Gold in Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Belgium, Italy and Switzerland. There is no surprise, because the whole album consists essentialy of a rich range of hits. For the singles mentioned already above we can add Next To Me, Breaking The Law, Daddy, Clown, Suitcase, My Kind Of Love, Mountains and we get a very strong, deep-seated personal compositions that will rarely be indifferent.
The latest album “Long Live The Angels”, released in 2016, has hit 2nd place in the British chart. Of this particular highlight are compositions Hurts and Breathing Underwater.
Emile Sandé has a great list of awards proofing high rating from the professionals. She has won Brit Awards (in years 2013 and 2017) four times, then ther are BET Awards (2013), EBBA (2013), Ivor Novello Awards in two categories and so on. For her service to music Sandé was also appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (2017).
