A song for the summer that just ended by psychedelic rock foursome from Lithuania – Garbanotas Bosistas.
It’s a synth ballad and a video about the summer, about the peaks of mountains and the peaks of days, about friends and fields, about truths and tresses. Once you’ve heard somewhere that you’re infinite, but the summer ends, you have to climb down the mountain, evening comes, friends leave, at the edge of the field there’s a forest, truths wear out and you cut down your tresses… Infinity’s somewhere else, not here. You wait for the summer again, stride slowly down the valley, go to sleep when the sun sets, miss your friend, step into the forest, don’t understand a thing, start growing your hair again. Parallel lines intersect at the infinity. It’s just not right here, you need to move forward. Summer comes again, the view from a different mountain is much wider, you wonder what’s gonna happen tomorrow, friends come back, there’s one more field on the other side of the forest, you start to get something, you wear flowers in your tresses again. Just don’t get stuck. Lord, you know I gotta get moving. New band’s single after a 2 years break start spreading flowers from the speakers again.
“Last Summer’s Day” is the latest single from band’s upcoming (second) album. First album was “Above Us”, released in 2015.
