“The Ludvig” has been confirmed as the opening act for “Imany” all Baltic States shows! The shows will take place on April 27 in Vilnius, Lithuania, on April 29 in Riga, Latvia and on April 30 in Tallinn, Estonia. It’s an international level acknowledgement for this young and talented Latvian artist.
Singer The Ludvig was born in Talsi, beautiful town in Latvia and is currently studying Musicals at Riga Dome Choir School. After the contest “Supernova 2017” finals, where the talented singer with his first hit “I’m In Love With You” ranked second place, continue to break hearts of his listeners with his unusual voice timbre and is also actively working to launch his second single “Stars Collide”, a tribute to his father, who passed away just after the Supernova finals.
The Ludvig weekly surprises his fans with some of the world known artist’s cover versions, which he publishes on his Facebook and Instagram accounts under the name #TheLudvigSofaSession.
Some well-known music professionals in Latvia have expressed their appreciation of his talent, including maestro Raimonds Pauls.
“I began to sing, when I was in grade 4, when my older sister made me a compliment on how I sing along all songs playing on the radio. I started to write my own music at the age of 11 – along with best friends in my best friends garage. As soon as the first songs were ready, the same night we were calling girls to play them to hear their opinion. Today we don’t write gathering together, because each of us has turned to his own musical style, “says The Ludvig, adding – “I think it is better to write songs alone than with someone, because then its turned into something much more emotional. All the songs that I have written, tells the story of my true emotions, because I am convinced that they do not have to be pretentious.”
The author of phenomenally successful hits “Don’t Be So Shy” (Nr.1 in 11 European countries!) and “You Will Never Know”, French soul music diva Imany will perform in all Baltic States during promotional tour of her latest album “The Wrong Kind Of War”. Tickets for the shows are still available, don’t miss it!
