“Foo Fighters” release a surprise new single and video “Run” directed by the band’s frontman Dave Grohl. The Foos’ are back and louder than ever. The new single is the group’s first since they went on hiatus after touring in support of their 2014 album “Sonic Highways” and damn! what a comeback!
The band’s also got a bunch of summer festivals lined up, including Glastonbury (UK), Open’er (PL), Roskilde (DK), Lollapalooza (DE) and others. But even before that they will rock the Baltics with the only show in the region in Riga, Latvia on June 21! Special guests on this historic day will be Scottish trio “Biffy Clyro”, British-American “The Kills” and Estonians “Elephants From Neptune”.
In the decades since the 1995 release of Foo Fighters‘ self-titled debut, the band has grown into a dominant force on the global festival, stadium and arena circuit. The band’s massive catalogue of gold and platinum albums has won 11 Grammys, four Brit Awards, sold 25+ million records, and is the backbone of marathon shows powered by singalong anthems “Everlong,” “Monkey Wrench,” “My Hero,” “Learn To Fly,” “All My Life,” “Best Of You,” “The Pretender,” “Walk,” “Something From Nothing” and more.
