DAGAMBA OFFICIAL

The ‘Laivā’* | ‘Live’  Festival is the first crossover genre festival in the Baltics, inviting listeners to board boats on the Lake Jugla overlooking the Open-Air Museum and enjoy the scenic corner of Riga. Music without borders, the breadth of the lake, the traditions of our ancestors and a modern show – this festival is an opportunity to escape from the daily routine emerging in nature’s beauty and peace.

Festival ‘Laivā’ will provide a unique experience to enjoy music of beloved artists live on the Lake Jugla, on the shores of the Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum. Festival is like a bridge between traditional, classical values and the modern world, just like crossover in music. The launch of the festival will take place on August 8 with a double concert by bands TAUTUMEITAS and DAGAMBA. TICKETS

“We have been dreaming of organizing a crossover festival for some time. This music genre is currently very popular in the world, it is also represented by, for example, David Garret, 2Cellos, Apocalyptica and others. While performing abroad we have met many interesting musical groups whom we will definitely invite to perform at the festival in the coming years. We are pleasantly excited to start making this idea a reality,” says Valters Pūce, the author of the festival idea and the founder of DAGAMBA.

Entrance to the festival is only for visitors in boats. Each visitor needs an entrance ticket and a boat. For example, if you plan to attend the concert with someone, then it is necessary to buy 2 entrance tickets and one double boat together. When purchasing tickets, please provide your e-mail and telephone number so that we can contact you if necessary.

The event will comply with all national safety requirements. For the purpose of controlling the number of visitors, entrance tickets are required for all visitors, including pre-school children.
