Fifteen days is left to the biggest music festival in the Baltics – Weekend Baltic Festival, which will take place in Pärnu beach from 4 to 6 August. Weekend Baltic Festival organizers this year have prepared variety of surprises that will make the festival experience unique and memorable.
Weekend Festival Baltic Marketing Manager Maija Tomkalne reveals that his year at the festival will be LIVE stage, where the evening’s repertoire will be created on the spot, instead of using a pre-prepared list of songs. On the live stage will perform 15 artists from more than 80 artists of the whole festival list, including Latvian most favourite pop-rock band “Brainstorm” and amazing Latvian singer Ralfs Eilands with his band «PeR» crew.
Also on LIVE stage will perform world known English music trio “The Disciples”, which, in collaboration with Calvin Harris, in 2015, conquered the world of radio charts with their single “How Deep Is Your Love.”
British D’n’B duo – SIGMA also will feature on the Weekend Festival Baltic LIVE stage. The duo got remixed scandalous American artist Kanye West song “Bound 2”, from West’s 2013 album “Yeezus” – a remix of this song called “Nobody To Love”. The song, after the release in early 2014, was sold 121,000 copies in its first week.
The festival organizers also reported that Weekend Festival Baltic is sold 90% of the total ticket volume, respectively, for those who are planning to go, but not purchased tickets yet are advised to act in a timely manner because the festival has been sold out every year.
